The teachers chose to discuss Global Issues in Language Education today.
I think the biggest problem with using issues like human rights in English
classes is that the vocabulary that we use to discuss these issues as adults
is relatively specialized. I do like to work out ideas so that teachers,
especially junior high teachers, can use it in their classes.
